Students are in midst of their middle school career in seventh grade. Time management and organization skills grow as students assume an instrumental role in their academic and campus activities. Transition will be noticeable throughout this school year.
Class meeting time provides an open forum in which students conduct discussions about news events, environmental concerns and real life issues. Learning to be an active listener is highly regarded as is taking the lead during class meetings. Every voice is valued and heard. It also is a planning time for cooperative teams to take the lead in planning community service activities and school/class functions.
