| Art | | In third grade we have begun our study of Africa. We started out making a long mural of a caravan. Each child drew a camel with it's owner or passenger and we have them traipsing through the desert simulating the salt for gold trade that was carried on between ancient Egypt and Ghana. Next the children will learn about some sacred animals of Egypt and draw one of then. If time permits we will then learn about Ghana and Kente and Adinkra cloth by making a hat.
