| Barnesville Basement | | The Barnesville Basement Sale is coming! Oct 23rd and 24th the gym will be transformed into the biggest yard sale you will ever see! Please start organizing your donations of used clothing, toys, furniture, books, and just about anything else (No mattresses, old TVS or computers unless approved by Jim Snider). All donations are tax deductible, and we will gladly accept donations from the greater local community. Set-up will run from Oct 20th through the 22nd, and volunteers are needed! It is always a lively time, and volunteers have the added advantage of finding a bargain for themselves! Additionally we need sale workers and cashiers for the actual event, and clean-up on Sunday. In a NEW addition this year, we will have small lawn signs advertising the event. We would LOVE to have families who will put them in their yard for a week or 10 days prior. If you can't help out with either option, we always need to feed our volunteers, so snacks and beverages are welcome. As you can see, there are many ways to help with this great fundraiser, and ALL are welcome and needed! Please contact Janine Huber or Julie Landis with questions, or to schedule your volunteer time. You can also download a volunteer form here and return it to Nicole Campbell in the Communications Office. | |
