| Annual Fund Update | | The Annual Fund is off to a great start. Thank you to all who have responded to the calls of our Committee members. We so appreciate your thoughtful generosity!
Wonderful news for parents – our tuition rates are lower than our competitor schools! Our commitment to lower tuition rates subsequently widens the gap between tuition revenue and the actual expense of educating our students. In fact, the gap is estimated at $3,800 per student this year! However, our school community of parents, grandparents, alumni parents, alumni and friends has shown a great commitment to supporting the school philanthropically. Together, our tax-deductible donations made through the Annual Fund help off-set the gap. Any size donation, be it $25, $250, $2,500 or more, is a welcomed gift. Please make your pledge or your gift today.

| Grandparents/Grandfriends Day | | The Barnesville School's annual Grandparents/Grandfriends Day is Nov. 23, 2011. This well-loved event brings grandparents and friends to campus for breakfast, a special performance by the students, and an opportunity to visit the children in the classroom. Grandparents and friends also have their pictures taken with their loved one(s) and can "purchase" a library book to dedicate to their grandchild(ren), a lasting tribute that benefits all the children of Barnesville.
Invitations are scheduled to be sent at the end of October. To make sure we include everyone, even grandparents who may not live locally, we ask that you check Renweb to update your parents and loved ones contact information. You can also email Kristen Carter with their contact information. | |
