	Holiday Sugar Cookie Workshop (cost $20) Each child will have one dozen cookies to decorate using green/red and blue/white decorations. Date: Friday, December 9 Grades: 2nd and up  Class size: Minimum: 8 students Instructor: Linda Birkholz   Holiday Cupcake Decorating Workshop (cost $15)  Each child will have 6 cupcakes to decorate using green/red and blue/white colors.   Date: Wednesday, December 7 Time: 3:15 - 4:15 pm Grades: 1st and younger Class Size: Minimum: 8 students  Instructor: Linda Birkholz     L.A.N.D. Holiday Green Workshop (cost $10.00) Make door decorations from fresh, fragrant greens. All Barnesville students are invited to attend our annual holiday greens workshop. Learn how to make beautiful door decorations from fragrant, fresh greens. Great for your home or to give as a gift. We will collect new toys that are being donated to WUMCO, helping out families in the upcounty area.   Weather permitting, we will be working outside so please dress appropriately. Volunteers are needed! Parents and/or middle and high school students. SSL hours are available. Please email us at garth@landandnature.org if you are able to help out. Date: Fridays, December 16th Time: 3:15 - 4:15 pm   Instructor: Mr. Garth     Sarge Athletics (cost $130)  The Sarge Athletics program is focused on fun sports conditioning. Students learn proper movement techniques while getting a whole lot of exercise. The format is great for the serious athlete or the child just wanting to exercise.    Dates: Nov. 21 & 30, Dec. 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, & 14 Time: 3:10 - 4 pm Ages: 8+ Class Size: Minimum: 8 Instructor: Patrick "Sarge" Avon Patrick “Sarge” Avon served in the Navy for 5 years and has taught athletics to both youth and adults in the Washington, D.C. area since leaving the Navy in 1986. In 1989 he opened a business called The Sergeant’s Program focused on adult outdoor exercise. Once his children began in youth sports, his focus quickly shifted to athletes and youth fitness. His playful nature enables him to draw the most out of kids of all ages. Sarge Athletics has worked with: Damascus HS Girls Basketball and Football; Damascus Sports Association Wrestling, Football, Cheerleading and Lacrosse; Urbana HS Volleyball; Urbana JR Hawks Baseball; LOUYAA Football and Lacrosse; Linganore Girls Lacrosse; Clarksburg HS Football; and Hundreds of middle and elementary school athletes.
