During the week of the Fourth of July, Barnesville Summer Camp is offering three day-long
field trips. The camp is closed Wednesday, July 4 and Thursday, July 5. The camps are open to campers age 3 through ninth grade. Each trip costs $70 for the day. Free transportation is available this week. Childcare is also available for $25 a day and includes morning (8 - 9 am) and afternoon (4 - 6 pm).
Monday, July 2: Trip to Cascade Lake
Join the Barnesville Summer Camp for a day a Cascade Lake! Swim in their spring fed lake, ride their water slides, play in their water playground, or just relax in the sunshine. We leave Barnesville at 9 am and return at 4 pm. Bring your lunch and a snack and prepare for a fun day at the lake.
Tuesday, July 3: Trip to the Baltimore Zoo
Spend the day with your favorite animals. Watch the polar bears play. Visit the African animals. Have a close encounter with spiders, snakes, and insects. Pet the animals in the Children’s Zoo. Bring your lunch, a snack, a hat and a water bottle. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. We leave Barnesville at 9 am and return at 4 pm. Lions and tigers and bears and so much more!
Friday, July 6: A Picnic at the Lake
Spend the day swimming, hiking and playing in one of our beautiful Maryland State Parks. We will provide lunch and beverages. Please bring a snack to share. Don’t forget your water bottle, beach towel, swimsuit and sunscreen! We leave Barnesville at 9 am and return at 4 pm.
