Auxiliary Programs * The Barnesville Lawn Sign * A Night in New Orleans Auxiliary Programs     Barnesville Summer Camp Summer Camp registration is now open! Camp descriptions and registration forms are on the school website. All registrations are online. Register before March 31 and receive a 15% discount. Camps will fill so please register early to ensure your child's spot. Join us for a summer of joy, support and excellence. If you have any questions, please contact Lynda Forman.   Spring Break Childcare We will offer childcare over Spring Break. Look for details in the coming weeks. The Barnesville School Lawn Sign!     Susanne Johnson, Director of Admissions Help us get the word out about our wonderful school. Stop by the Admissions Office to pick up a "Proudly Supporting The Barnesville School" lawn sign! Not only does it bring us new student inquiries, but recently one of my neighbors called me to donate a cherished piano to the school because my sign!      Family Fun Night Raffle   Raffle Tickets are on sale! Online ordering is open and order forms are coming home with kids tomorrow. Tickets are $20 for a sheet of 20 or $100 for 140 tickets!   Purple, Gold and Green Tuesdays   Kids! Get into the Barnesville on the Bayou spirit! Dress in the colors of Mardi Gras for the next three Tuesdays! Wear Purple on Feb. 7, Gold on Feb. 14, and Green on Feb. 21. We also have some special treats planned for the next three Tuesday Morning Assemblies to celebrate the history and culture of New Orleans with a preview raffle of "Breakfast with Beignets" at each. All families are automatically entered into the raffle and the winners will recieve an email after the fact.   Donations   Thank you to everyone who has donated to Family Fun Night! It is not too late to make your commitment. Our deadline for forms is Friday, Feb. 3, but items can follow at a later date. Check out our Amazon.com Wish List for ideas.           In this column... The Athletic t-shirts are approved for middle school PE. The deadline is Friday, Feb. 3 by 3 pm. Parent Visiting Day     Join your students in the classroom for a morning on Parent Visiting Day, Thursday, Feb. 9, 8 am to Noon (11:30 for EC parents). The day is also a 1:30 pm dismissal day. Head Lice Resources     Barnesville's Delagating Nurse Patti Saylor provided parents with comprehensive information about head lice and how to deal with it in a school environment at the Lice Presentation, Wednesday, Feb. 1. If you were unable to attend, you can still access the information on the Parent Portal of the Barnesville website (you need to login with your username and password).
