Exciting Things to Watch For
Displays of auction items, including many of the Class Projects, are going up in the hallway outside the library. Stop by and check out some fantastic packages you can bid on at the Auction.
Get a sneak-peek at the one-of-a-kind Halloween Buddy Collage photographs either on photographer Thom Germer's website or on display in the library hall.
Catalogs are going home on Monday in kids' mail! Don't forget to check your kids' bags!
Returning are the First Bidder Frenzy Raffle (with a secret prize for the winner), Signature Drinks and Champange Service.
New is Heads or Tails, a lively and fun game played prior to Live Auction. Participants purchase Mardi Gras beads ($10) for their chance to guess the outcome of the flip of a coin. (More beads equals more chances to win!) The last player standing wins a fabulous $500 Ritz Carlton Gift Card! | |
| May Day - May 2 | | The Lower School celebrates May Day on Wednesday, May 2 at 10:30 am on the playground around the May Pole. Come and join us - the festivities will be led by the traditional Hobby Horse and Teaser! The Muffin Man, Jack-In-The-Green and the Chimney Sweeps will be there and all Lower School students participate.
On that day, each Lower School student needs to bring a flower or two, or a small "branch of May." Boys should wear nice, comfortable pants or shorts, and a nice shirt of spring colors such as pastel tones, muted strips or plaid. Girls should wear festive but comfortable spring clothing suitable for dancing. No jeans or t-shirts! All students must wear shoes with non-skid soles to avoid slipping and sliding while dancing.
Some fourth graders have other clothing requirements for May Day. The Hobby Horses, the Teaser and the four stick dancers should wear long khaki pants and a long-sleeved white oxford-style shirt.
Thank you! See you there!
