| Strategic Vision 2012-2017 Launched | | The Barnesville School's Strategic Vision 2012-2017 was launched at a reception at the BlackRock Center for the Arts on May 11. The evening took place under the Barnesville Mobile, Flying Colors, and included Guest Speaker Meredith Langstaff '99. Pictures from the event, the Strategic Plan and Meredith's speech are all posted on the Strategic Vision 2012-2017 page on the website. | |
| Eighth Grade Donates Picnic Tables | | The Class of 2012 donated two octagonal picnic tables as their class gift. The tables were presented  at a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 16. Pictures of the ceremony are in the Photo Gallery on the website. | |
| Spirit Week, May 21-25 | | Next week is Barnesville Spirit Week. Each day has a designated theme and students are encouraged to join in the fun!

| Barnesville Summer Camp | |  Register now for summer camp! There are many exciting opportunities for campers from ages 3 to 14. And don't forget Gap Camps, June 18-22 and August 13-17. We also are offering a Travel Camp during the week of July 4. Registration is available on the Summer Camp page of the website. | |
| Not So X-Games & Bunco | | It is not too late to join the fun at the Not So X-Games (men only) and Bunco. The X-Games are this Saturday, May 19 at the Butz residence at 2:00 pm and is $100 per person. Bunco is Thursday, June 7 at St. Mary’s Pavilion in Barnesville at 7:00 pm and is $50 per person. Reserve a spot for yourself, bring a friend and/or gift a spot to a teacher. If you are interested in participating in either event, email Kristen Carter. | |
