The Barnesville School Education provides a comprehensive curriculum, covering all core subjects such as language arts, math, science, and social studies, while at the same time including additional specials like Spanish, art, music, library, and physical education into the school week. Under the leadership of division heads, students are able to maintain inclusive academic schedules that still allow for outdoor time, recess, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Students are able to learn in a variety of ways, allowing each student to develop academically and socially. Focus on the whole child-physical, academic, social and emotional, are all addressed throughout the curriculum.
Our faculty is encouraged to participate in professional development to continue learning new techniques and strategies to introduce in the classroom. Faculty are able to further their professional growth throughout various conferences and seminars.
