Barnesville Hosts Parenting Classes for Local CommunityThe Barnesville School is very excited to offer an extended parenting class! For parents of children ages 5 -12, interested in raising responsible, caring kids-learn practical skills and gain insights into how to use positive, encouraging methods with your children to gain cooperation, foster respect and responsibility, set and uphold limits and bring out the best in each child. The class is being offered by the Parent Encouragement Program (PEP). PEP, a local non-profit, has been offering parenting classes in the Washington area for over 30 years.
The class is being taught by a long-time Parent Educator with PEP, Pascale Brady, who recently spoke at Barnesville on the subject of raising responsible children.
Please register directly with PEP at 301.929.8824. The class at Barnesville will be a weekday morning class, for 8 weeks, beginning in mid-April.
