Faculty & Staff

"In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn." – Phil Collins

Barnesville teachers are highly skilled, creative, and passionate about what they do. They share this passion with their students, delivering instruction with joy, energy, and subject expertise. In addition, teachers have the freedom to challenge each child and tailor instruction based on individual learning styles. They, as well as our administration and staff, also actively promote and support a grounded and caring learning environment.

The Jaralyn Hough Professional Development Fund

Named in honor of Jaralyn (Jeri) Hough, Head of School from 1984-2006, the Jaralyn Hough Professional Development Fund was created to provide financial support for ongoing faculty enrichment. Established in 2006, the Fund enables teachers to attend conferences and classes. Their new knowledge and ideas are brought back to the classroom to further benefit our students. Founding donors’ gifts to the Hough Fund and new contributors’ gifts give our faculty the opportunity to follow in Jeri’s footsteps, fulfilling her passion for creating lifelong learners.
