Each year before Thanksgiving, grandparents and friends of students are invited to join their loved ones for a very special school day at Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences. The School is extremely thankful for the community spirit and efforts that enable students to share their Barnesville experience with family and friends each fall.

Every fall, Barnesville seventh graders spend three days and two nights at Echo Hill Outdoor School on the Chesapeake Bay. The annual trip focuses on environmental science and team building.

Preschool students recently took a field trip to Imagination Stage to see their early childhood show, Aquarium, and experience drama in a more formal setting. Back in the pre-k and early childhood classrooms, Ms. Gekas used similar techniques from Imagination Stage to encourage students to play with their imaginations during drama time.
