Barnesville's kindergarten students have been working all year to create art in the style of famous artists and welcomed their parents to their "Alphabet Museum" in the hallway leading to Barnesville's art room.

Barnesville faculty teamed up with naturalists from Black Hill Regional Park to create a Flying WILD Earth Day Festival -- an entire day of fun outdoor and environmental education activities related to birds, their habitats, and their migration.

Mrs. Jordan has lots of fun ways of teaching her pre-k students the alphabet, but few things can top "P is for pizza!" Students visit Cugini's in Poolesville and then create their own pretend Pre-K Pizza Parlor in the classroom.

To celebrate Earth Day, Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences faculty and naturalists from Black Hill Regional Park have teamed up to create a Flying WILD Festival. Friday, April 22, Barnesville students will participate in fun, hands-on activities related to birds, their habitats, and their migration, including a live show featuring birds of prey.
