The Barnesville Parent Connection, also known as the BPC, includes every parent at the Barnesville School. By working together, parents, faculty, and staff make the Barnesville School a better place for our students.
The Barnesville Parent Connection sponsors many events during the school year that enrich our families' experiences. Some of these events include the Back to School Ice Cream Social, Fall Parent Socials, Family Fun Night, parent education programs, and a Green Week centered on a used book sale. In addition, the Barnesville Parent Connection works closely with our Head of School to identify special programs that benefit the school community.
Parents can get involved in leadership positions or choose to dedicate a couple of hours here and there. Volunteer opportunities include serving on the BPC Executive Committee, coordinating a BPC event, supporting individual classrooms as a Room Parent or during special events, chaperoning field trips, assisting in the library, helping with the hot lunch program, coordinating faculty appreciation efforts, and writing for our Parent Blog.
