We all know staying active is vital to health but in our ipad, social media, 80inch tv world it can be difficult to interest our children in exercise. Luckily there are many ways we can encourage our kids to stay active and turn exercise into a life-long habit. From showing them the value of organized sports to taking them in family hikes the possibilities are endless. Making time for fitness is very important, not only burns calories, but to lower stress, learn the importance of teamwork, boost self-esteem, and improve or maintain optimal health.
