Lower School TEA Time

In Lower School, grades are grouped together to participate in TEA Time (Team Enrichment Activities). Preschool and kindergarten work together, first and second work together, and third and fourth grades work together each Friday afternoon, during the last 50 minutes of school. The groups meet to focus on a variety of topics and activities. Many of the lessons are literature-based, with role-playing, arts integration, and hands-on activities integrated into each theme. Groups will also work on conflict resolution activities and help the children to understand how to become part of a community. This time is also used to work on a community service project or to meet with Buddies.
