Family Fun Night

Date: Friday - March 08, 2019
Time: 6:30 PM

Join the BPC Committee on Friday, March 8th for Family Fun Night from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. This year's theme is 50 Years of Imagination Through Books. Come dressed as your favorite character from a book and enter the Chronicles of Barnia. Walk down the Yellow Brick Road to play a game of Goosebumps Camp Jellyjam tricycle jousting or try your luck at finding treasures in Horrible Harry's Green slime. Enjoy some delicious treats at Alice in Wonderland's table. Challenge your parents to a game of "Are You Smarter than Your Kid?" Then check out the Ready Player One VR experience.

We want to make this event fun for parents too! To go along with this theme, we are having a Stone Soup cooking competition. Make an appetizer, main dish or dessert that represents your favorite book. There will be prizes! Click on the link to sign up.

Admission to Family Fun Night is easy! Bring with you a gently used, recycled or Eco-friendly item from your home that can be added to the schools new Naturebrary collection. As part of our MAEOE green school certification the Library is taking reading to a whole new level for the students by creating back packs that can be used outdoors for learning and exploring. See SignUpGenius for details on what to bring.

Want to Volunteer? The BPC would love your help! Please join us on Monday, February 25th at 6:30 pm to help prepare for this event. If you can't make it on February 25th but still want to help out, please still sign up and let us know in what capacity you are able to help.
