7th & 8th Grades Release the Trout
Posted 05/06/2014 04:00PM
Barnesville's 7th and 8th graders released 191 Rainbow Trout fingerlings into Little Seneca Creek on May 6. The students have raised the fish from eggs since early January 2014. They monitored the water chemistry of the tank and changed the water as needed as they observed the growth of the trout. The trout unit is a part of the chemistry and life science curriculums.
