2019 Camp Offerings

2019 Summer Camp Weekly Themes:

Week 1 - June 17-21 - Deep Blue Sea
Did you know that 80% of our beautiful oceans remain unexplored? This week, students will discover all there is to know about the deep, blue sea. Activities will focus on oceans, sea creatures, boats, islands, and more.

Week 2 - June 24-28 - All Ball
Summer is the time to have a ball, and that’s what this week is all about! Students will enjoy a week filled will games and sports. Activities will center around soccer, basketball, kickball, and all manners of fun!

Week 3 - July 1-5 - America the Beautiful
Oh, say can you see, America’s birthday is coming? This week, campers will celebrate our nation’s Independence Day. Red, white, and blue art, patriotic songs, and a good old-fashioned American cookout are all part of this week’s celebration! No camp on July 4th.

Week 4 - July 8-12 - In My Backyard
Bugs, birds, bats, oh my! Have you ever wondered what is living in your backyard? This week, campers will explore the living things that can be found out back. Activities will center around animal and plant species, biodiversity, gardening, and more.

Week 5 - July 15-19 - Outer Space
To infinity and beyond! This week, campers will board a rocket ship to the stars! Art and science activities will include an exploration of constellations, planets, galaxies, space travel, and more.

Week 6 - July 22-26- Farmers of the Future
What would the world be like without farmers? This week, campers will discover where our food comes from! Activities focus on gardening, farm animals, the food chain, and everything in between the farm and your dinner plate.

Week 7 - July 29-August 2 - Rainforest Adventure
Did you know that 50% of the plants and animals on the earth live in the rainforest? This week, campers will take a trip to the rainforests of South America! Activities will explore the flora and fauna of the ecosystem, the geography of the region, and the people who live there.

Week 8 - August 5-9 - World Heros
“Many small people, in small places, doing small things can change the world.” This week, campers will explore how people all over the world are making a difference. Activities will focus on superheroes, both real and fantasy, with an emphasis on environmental conservation.
