Finding Their Sound: Fourth Grade Music at Barnesville
Kay'La Portee
Our fourth graders are joyfully finding their sound in music class with Mr. Hayes!
As they settle into a new school year, students are easing back into the rhythm of creating music together. They’re exploring a variety of string instruments, practicing new techniques, and discovering that listening to the music, and to one another is just as essential as playing. Each class invites students to experiment, listen closely, and experience how their individual parts blend into a full, vibrant ensemble.
With guidance from Mr. Hayes, fourth graders are finding their sound, building confidence, and having plenty of fun along the way. It's a joyful and promising start to the year for our young musicians, with much more music ahead.
Our teaching encourages students to explore how subjects relate to one another, helping them to make connections that spark inquiry and deepen understanding.
