From the Head of School

Welcome to Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences!
Barnesville makes the most of the small class settings and personalized teaching only available at an independent private school. Our integrated cross-curricular approach helps students understand key relationships between subjects, strengthening critical thinking and comprehension of real-world concepts. Teachers have the freedom to tailor their instruction to individual learning styles and use their endless creativity to bring lessons to life for each student.

Our unique emphasis on community and responsibility to one another is what we call The Barnesville Way. Each morning, we greet students in car line before our school-wide morning meeting and take time to learn what is going on in each child's world. We model mutual respect by shaking each student's hand to start the day. We value every individual's point of view and seek to be as inclusive as possible while maintaining a challenging and stimulating learning environment.
