• Board of Trustees

  The Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences Board of Trustees is a dedicated group of volunteers who bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to the school’s mission. Charged with fiduciary oversight, strategic planning, and long-term sustainability, the Board works in close partnership with the Head of School to ensure that Barnesville continues to thrive as a nurturing, innovative, and academically rigorous learning environment. Trustees include current and past parents, alumni, and community leaders who serve on a variety of committees that guide the school’s operations and future growth.

• Room Parents - Class Donations

  A room parent (also known as a class parent) facilitates communication between parents and the teacher, school administration, and parent organization (BPC), and supports the teacher in needs that may arise. In the case of the Gala, each room parent works with the class to prepare a student-sponsored themed basket for the Auction.

  2026 Gala Auction Basket/Art Themes:
  Room Parents coordinate with families to donate grade specific baskets or a class Art project each year.
  
  Pre-Kindergarten: Class Art Project - Student painted backyard Jenga Set
  Kindergarten: TBD
  1st Grade: Around the World Basket - food & drinks from multiple countries
  2nd Grade: TBD
  3rd Grade: Hibachi at Home Basket - dinner & a show
  4th Grade: Buy Local Gift Basket - filled with items from local businesses
  5th Grade: Class Art Project - Ceramic Platter with student self portraits
  6th Grade: Night Out at the Theater Gift Basket
  7th Grade: Class Art Project - Student painted Tiled Wall Hanging
