Diving into Learning & Celebrating Black Divers

Here at Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences, all lower school students had the opportunity to participate in a virtual call with scuba experts and get a glimpse of science within the underwater world.  During this program, students met a diver from Black Girls Dive and discovered the beauty under the sea, while also creating an ocean-inspired watercolor painting. Finding programs that integrate Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics -- like this with SCUBA diving -- is a wonderful example of how students are creatively engaged in the Arts & Sciences at BSAS.
