Barnesville Students Elected to 2025–26 Student Council

This week at Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences, leadership and school spirit were on full display as our middle school students wrapped up the student council election process.
 
In the days leading up to the vote, candidates campaigned by creating colorful posters, sharing their ideas with classmates, and preparing speeches. On Wednesday, each student took the stage during the middle school meeting to present their goals and vision for the school community. Their classmates then cast their votes to elect this year’s student council representatives.

We are proud to announce the results:

5th Grade Representative: Declan Blum
6th Grade Representative: Ailyn Randall
7th Grade Representative: Etta Jenkins
8th Grade Representative: Selena Basar
Treasurer: Adeleine Kolb
Secretary: Brooklyn Turner
Vice President: Sammy Salem
President: Ellsie Kolb

These student leaders will serve as the voice of their peers, helping to organize events, bring forward new ideas, and represent the spirit of Barnesville throughout the school year.
 
At Barnesville, student council is more than just elections—it’s an opportunity for students to practice responsibility, communication, and collaboration while shaping the experiences of our school community. Congratulations to all of our candidates for their courage, creativity, and leadership!
