Peace Week has been a grand success! This year’s theme was “Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me,” reinforcing the idea that to have peace in our home, school, and communities, we need to first look inside ourselves and our individual abilities to cultivate and spread peace through our words and actions. We will culminate our week with our annual Peace and Candle lighting Student Assembly on Friday with each student making a promise for peace and reflecting on the question, "what will I do for peace today?"
Our teaching encourages students to explore how subjects relate to one another, helping them to make connections that spark inquiry and deepen understanding.
