Research shows that when schools fully integrate social, emotional, and academic development into education, academic performance improves, and students are more engaged and happier in school. Come hear how Barnesville’s Kindergarten students benefit from more individualized attention and the balance between a strong academic start and social emotional learning.
Current Pre-K grade Parents are invited to join Kindergarten Teacher,
Ms. Elizabeth Gekas for an in-person parent gathering Monday, February 6th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. to hear about Barnesville’s Kindergarten program. All current PK students will be able to be on-campus during this time and will be supervised by staff with a special activity.
If you are interested in attending this meeting, please R.S.V.P. to Elizabeth Gekas at egekas@barnesvilleschool.org. Ms. Gekas will give more detailed information on the Kindergarten program, and it will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and mingle with other parents and guardians.
Our teaching encourages students to explore how subjects relate to one another, helping them to make connections that spark inquiry and deepen understanding.
