Joyful Play!!  Seen here are 5th, 6th, and 7th graders bonding during recess time. Barnesville recognizes that mixed-age interaction can increase cooperation and reduce competition among peers. In addition to recess and lunch, students have the Barnesville Buddy Program.  Barnesville’s Buddy Program is a social-emotional learning opportunity for our students to connect and make friends across grade levels. Students in younger grades are paired with older students, allowing students to develop meaningful relationships throughout the year with other age groups.
