The Barnesville School administration, faculty, and staff appreciate the opportunity to use email as a vehicle of communication. 1. Parent/guardian(s)-to-parent/guardian(s) and parent/guardian(s)-to-school communication will always be most successful in a climate of trust and mutual respect. 2. Email is an excellent means to convey factual information. Please be as specific and as brief as possible. Include your child’s name, your name, a phone number where you can be reached, and when you are available. 3. Wait 48 hours for a response before resending your original email or sending a second email. Teachers have been asked to respond to each email within 24 hours, when possible. 4. If you have a large amount of information to share with an administrator or teacher, or have a sensitive issue to discuss, please make an appointment to meet at the School.
Our teaching encourages students to explore how subjects relate to one another, helping them to make connections that spark inquiry and deepen understanding.
